Dyslexia Reporting Requirements
The dyslexia intervention programs used during the previous school year to assist students with dyslexia are:
Florida Center for Reading Research: Phonemic Awareness and Phonics activities
Orton Gillingham curriculum
Reading Success: Phonemic Awareness
Heggerty Phonemic Awareness
Making Words Lessons
5 students received various dyslexia interventions during the school year; no students were identified with dyslexia.
NEW: New Legislative Requirement - Website Inclusion of Reading and Writing Curricula
Pursuant to House Enrolled Act (HEA) 1558 Indiana Code 20-26-5-44.2, corporations and charter schools are required to post the following on their website by Saturday, July 15, and no later than July 15 annually:
The name and publisher of the corporation or charter school's adopted reading and writing curricula listed by grade level for kindergarten through grade five; K-8 Savvas Language Arts
Information regarding remedial programs provided by the corporation or charter school, including the grade levels for which the remedial programs are provided; and Grades k-8 daily targeted instruction with small groups for math and language arts in addition to regular classroom instruction
